in need of disconnect of your working place? Easy peasy, ask for some days off, look for a destination, take some friends and start planning! Our chosen destination was of course New York City! We were there just for 3 days but we made the most of them, Central Park, Times Squere, MoMa, Statue of LIberty, Empire State Building, Ellis Island, Top of the Rock, Little Italy, SOHO and Chinatown were our main stops during this trip. So to finish I just want to thank these girls for sharing with me this amizing trip So, GOODBYE NYC, HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!

NEXT STOP...MADISON!!!

As I said before you have to enjoy your time here, so what can you do in your day off? easy: find friends that also have day off, rent a car, and TRAVEL! This time our destination was Madison, perfect place for one day trip! I had to say that it was the perfect plan, we had such a great time, and the best thing is that it was not planned, so our surprise was even bigger!

ONE MONTH HERE!

Omg, it's hard to believe, but it was one month ago when we were leaving our homes to start a experience in another country, and look at us now, you can tell that we find ourseleves completely integrated in this new way of life and that we are part of the community we are creating this months, because without realising it we are creating a small family that gronws each day. Furthermore here time goes faster and faster each week so we have to use the time we have not just to work and earn money but to enjoy and have fun with our friends.

WEEK 1: the beginning

Hello everyone!!!! First week in United States completed! The first week far away from home and from our friends and family is always the hardest one, but I have to say that mine went pretty well! As you can imagine everything started with a long flight, but after that and once we were installed in our new house everything has been working perfectly, we have started to meet new people, getting used to new schedules and also we've been trough our first days of work. I have to say that is always good to come back to a place that was once your house!

Last summer I did the work and travel USA program and I decided to work as a lifeguard in the Wilderness Resort and Hotel in Wisconsin Dells and this year, thanks to a spanish company, YoWork, and to my American sponsor, Spirit, I've decided to repeat this experience!!!
